I'm starting to feel like I make excuses for the way my husband acts... .

Are these BPD  symptoms or something else ?

He constantly flip-flops on whether he wants our marriage to work.
In less than five minutes he can say he loves me and we are going to work things out and then turns and says it's never going to happen.
Blocks me when he does not want to contact me or me to contact him
Comes back in a few days saying he loves me and misses me and wants to work things out just to do it again

They could very well be symptoms of BPD, but I'm not a doctor and cannot diagnose anyone.

I see that you're new here, have you had time to read the lesson on Understanding your partner's behaviors? It may help you understand better what may be going on in your relationship. One of the sublinks in the lesson is about the symptoms of BPD.
