Just a quick question...

5 days NC from exdBPD (except for her sending me an email confirming my suspicions that im painted black). She has a new gf. Long distance. Know  each other a few weeks and shes seen her once. Gushing about her. Shes 10 times the woman i am etc etc etc

Ive cut all contact. Blocked on everything except email because it wont allow me too. When she manages to contact me ie ringing off another number i usually cut her off pretty quickly. And shes usually only calling to tell me about someone shes slept with or the new gf. To hurt me pretty much.

Anyway she only knows 1 of my friends. She spoke to her yesterday around the time she sent the email. The friend thought she was doing me a favour by telling her im with someone else (im not) thinking it would make her leave me alone.

Ive read this can be pretty dangerous to do. She hasnt made any contact since she was told this. Ive seen glimpses of stalker behaviour when we were together so know she could be capable of anything.

I dont have anything to worry about do i? She seems quite content with the new gf (although i feel this is rather forced. Or for my benefit). And she lives an hour away. Anyone had experiences of their ex finding out you were with someone new?

Seems like you are in the right place.  She's an ex.  You're current NC.  This is the detaching board.  To which forum would you liked this thread to be moved?

Is the question how will the ex react if they find out you're with someone new? In my situation I told her twice I was going on a date. One was true and the other was a lie i did as a childish way to make her feel something. The first time she demanded to know who she was. Even though I called the date off out of guilt she was persistent. This started the recycle. The second time she told me "well then we are back together now". I told her no.

She wants nothing to do with me anymore. But I guarantee you if she finds out I'm with any woman and she's still single she will get very angry.

When she started dating me and her ex texted her to say he was in a new relationship she was devastated. I still remember the look on her face sitting on the couch as she read the message aloud.

If this is your question. That's my experience.

Thanks Roberto

Yes that was the question. We have split before. Still been in contact and ive mentioned then i had dates. She always made me cancel them and suddenly wanted back in. I didnt know much about BPD then though. And i wasnt painted black.

I dont want a recycle. I dont want her to try and contact me. I dont want any of that pain again. But i just worry that if she thinks im dating, when its not going so well with the new gf, that she might turn up here.

She really is unpredictable and i believe her mental health is deteriorating a lot from what ive seen since she left and stopped taking her meds.
