My Mom (and Sometimes I) Think He has BPD

I'm new here.  I have been married for under a year to someone who my mom (and sometimes I) think has BPD.  He went out of the country recently and while gone, appears to have lost it.  He asked me to move out of our house; I did so partially.  Now he does not want to come back to the country unless I am there (I think) because he cannot handle losing me.  
I have hope that we can try to make it work but am lost right now as to what to do... .thoughts?

can you tell us a bit more about what led to this situation? what do you mean when you say he lost it? any indication as to why he asked you to move out of the house?

has anything like this or anything else happened before to give your mother the impression he has BPD?

I'd like to join once removed and welcome you to the site. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a difficult situation. Did you go to your mom for support because of his erratic behaviors? We can't diagnose, only a professional can do that! What we can look at are traits of BPD, can you give us a little more detail on those traits?

When he lost it while he was away from home, did you two have a conversation? Was there conflict?
