My husband has BPD.  We have been together nearly 8 years and married for five and a half years. Nearly a year ago I essentially said counseling or I’m done. Until then I had never heard of BPD! Our therapist recognized it at the first session and within a few months he unraveled. Eventually I found out he had been cheating through our entire relationship. (I shouldn’t have been surprised considering we got together when we were both married to other people. I had never cheated prior to this and after the hurt I watched my ex-husband endure I would  NEVER do it again.

Hi and welcome back!

Read back to your other posts in the topic you started a few months ago, and that sounds like a difficult situation you were facing with the amount of infidelity and lies that were taking place.

A fair amount of time has passed: What has been going on since the original posts?  Have you had any further success with the counseling?  Have you uncovered more of the reasoning for the cheating?  Are you still separated?
