Good morning
My 20yr daughter has been recently diagnosed with BPD and an eating disorder, anxiety depression ocd , substance abuse and perfectionist traits...she admitted herself into an acute ward last Wednesday and they have let her out on leave back to her home address . On the ward she refused food for the entire stay 8 days and counting ...
I’m at my wits end she self harmed whilst in the ward and has voiced her suicidal ideation daily ...not sure what my question really is but I’m so angry right now...looking for advice from parents who have experienced similar situations as I’m feeling alone

Hi Lizzie51  Welcome new member (click to insert in post) Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Welcome. I'm so sorry, I've been in a similar situation (2015), at my wits end, the world tipped upside down, you are not alone. I have in the past written here the list of behaviours you describe..  Virtual hug (click to insert in post)  and its truly overwhelming and complex isn't it, where does one start! My daughter has turned it around and is managing well, I offer you hope.

Is follow up treatment in place, will your daughter engage? Does she have access to a Crisis Team?
