After divorce from BPd spouse

I was divorced from my spouse with BPD and I don’t trust myself now. How do I make better choices from now on and see the true person.  I made a bad decision by trusting him over and over.  I felt we were the loves of our lives. He dumped me for a new favorite person and I’m just now getting beyond the devistation.  I don’t like myself now. I’m really hard on me.

It will happen, the self doubt and feeling of responsibility for the whole mess.
   Hang in there. It gets easier as time passes. And try to keep busy with work or whatever.

First and foremost, I would suggest trying to slow down. The cortisol has you loopy. Are you still here?

This is a very deep situation for you. How do you trust yourself? I wish that you could answer that for me. Lol.

How are you being hard on yourself? We gotta talk about this and get it the hell out of your way. There is too much life in front of you.
