Hi y'all. I'm going to go by Luke on here and I am seeking support in my relationship with my fiance, Ian. He suffers from BPD and honestly it can be challenging sometimes. I try not to let myself get upset when he has episodes but I myself am mentally ill so it's hard, and then sometimes he makes me feel bad about it. Am I a bad person or partner for feeling these things? It's just so, so hard to see him in a slump I can't pull him out of and I know in the moment he's upset with me even if he may not be in the future. I am never giving up on him, he is the love of my life, but it can be difficult and I would appreciate advice from others in long term relationships with partners with BPD.
