Hello
Sorry to hear you're stressed.
And, yes, I sometimes feel physical symptoms from being too stressed out. It usually means I'm not taking care of myself properly and am focusing on things that are beyond my control, or who knows what
What's up? What's going on that has you feeling so badly?

Oh yes, when I get severely stressed i get weird physical pains in my lower back and legs like in my bones! Its weird, Ive only had it a few times and usually under very severe circumstances. Something to do with stress hormones and body reactions to that I think. I also have broken out in hives from stress. Meditation helps alot with that chronic stress. You really should look into it,chronic stress is horrible for your health!

I already know that I am one of those rare individuals in life. I know I'm tested on a daily basis, and I try to see reasoning behind it all.
The old saying: you can't no good without knowing bad. Well I already know the date in life that I would go back and change everything. Of course I would have to be able to retain the memory that I have of what I've gone through in life.
It's amazing because at any one given time, whatever is wrong in your life seems to be the worse that could possibly happen. I look back on stressful times when I was young,, where it all began,, but then my mind quickly races to present time. Chronic stress... . I guess you could say that. I know that every body handle stress differently, but the nature of my question was relating the aches and pains to people who have BPD somewhere in their life. We all seem to have so much in common here on the BPD family boards, I guess it's important to know exactly how much we have in common. Sometimes it feels like walking through a long corridor blindfolded and you know that there are people on both sides as you walk, and their main purpose is to slap you as you pass by. Well you know you that I get slapped, but you can't pinpoint each and every slap. I find that it's been that way lately with the BPD. It's going good one moment, and then it turns into a bad moment, and then it goes 180 again. Totally totally confusing, and it's totally wearing me out. The significant other is at work right now, hopefully having a good day, and I'm sitting here trying to get over all the stress of the weekend. Fortunately I have you good people out there that understand and go through the same thing. :-)
Hugs to you all!

Oh, yes, I've also experienced the discomfort of stress in my body. Sorry to hear you're hurting.
There is a great book called
Molecules of Emotion
written by Candace Perth, a leading pharmacologist and neuroscientist. She discovered in her research that emotions affect everything in our bodies.
Are you doing anything to release your stress? Meditation really helps me process stuck emotions and stress. I also benefit from regular acupuncture treatments and exercise. I hope you find something that helps you feel better.

dyinglove no more,
Many members over the years have reported physical symptoms that they attributed to the stress caused by their relationship with a pwBPD.
Fortunately, there is a remedy for what ails you. It's called taking care of yourself.
Eat right. Get sleep. Exercise. Have some fun doing things you like. Reconnect with friends and family. Don't let your relationship issues interfere with these things.
These are all relatively easy ways to start taking care of yourself. You can do these things to gain some strength and continue building from there.
Are you taking good care of yourself?
