www.tlc.com/tv-shows/what-not-to-wear/videos/i-have-what-i-want-in-life-do-you.htm

I was flipping around the TV and found this show. I've watched What Not to Wear before, so since there was nothing else on, I took a look... .and there was my mother. Outside of the fact that my mother was not Asian or wore children's outfits, the personality was spot on!

Take a look at this woman's eyes - how they flare with anger when challenged. My mother also didn't wear children's clothes - but she could get pretty kookie. My mother was much more polished but this was one of her personalities that showed up when everyone was having a good time and I thought I would share it with you.

Notice how she pits both Stacy and Clinton against one another, even though she never says anything to either one of them that you could put their finger on. Another good example is how she picks at Clinton... .and he blows sky high. I could only get a clip of this, maybe you could find the whole show which is about a half an hour or so (without commercials) and see the whole thing. It's like nails on a blackboard.

There was a point where Clinton said, "this is one of the worst workdays of my life"... .and I thought "heh, heh... .welcome to my LIFE".

Enjoy! It's a must see.

I will never forget the look you describe.  Those jet black piercing eyes.

Oh yeah - the eyes *shudder*. What also got me was the childlike manipulation. You would need to see the whole show to see how the hosts responded to her manipulation. Most people who have never had to deal with the effects of BPD would just say, "This woman is just a witch", but I remember the frustration when dealing with "the child" portion of my mother's personality. Like I said, nails on a blackboard.

Other manifestations included in my mother's personality were, Joan Crawford "queen", Hattie Dorset (Sybil's mom) - the witch (vulgarity), and just plain old normal mom.

I'm not sure witch one was worse.
