Hi guys  Smiling (click to insert in post)

Sorry not been online much but wanted to say I hope you all had a good holiday and have a great New Year :-) you all deserve it.

My update is that things have improved here in BPD world - I hesitate to say this as we all do sometimes but I have been pleasently surprised overall. Xmas is a nightmare time for my SO but we got through it (in a two steps forward one step back kind of a way) We have discussed me moving in with him officially and worked out a budget (instigated by him several times) Attended social events and dealt with stresses. Last night he said he loved me which is something that he hasnt said for a long time.

However, huge flare up rage from him this morning so I left the house as soon as I could. This was due to closeness I expect and a social event he had planned today (normal triggers for him) am hoping this rage wont stick (he has texted me since) Overall though one rage over the holiday period is an improvement in behaviour.

Anyway I wanted to post to say I met his brother for the first time last week. He is a more extreme version of my bf (similar traits) and I have just been told that his brother has officially got aspergers. Now this has been playing on my mind quite a bit as they are pretty similar. Anyone had any experience with aspergers/BPD crossover?

Sometimes  I wonder if mine has aspergers, too. He has a lot of the signs of it. He likes social interaction but only on his terms. He claims himself to be an introvert and typically he does silent raging and disappears until he calms down.

I don't know. He plays a lot of video games and that seems to calm him down.

It must have been awesome to hear him say he loved you!  Even though he spooked himself and got upset, later.
