Like the Cheshire Cat? Can something that is so vexing and without a body present be beheaded? Yes? No? Maybe... .

So what do you conclude from that Perfidy?

I have often seen a cat without a grin but never a grin without a cat.

This started as a reply to a broken contact thread. All good.
I simply walked away. She wanted to talk, I didn't. She came right up to me and put her hand on my right arm. Told me that I haunt all of her dreams and she thinks about me every day. First time in almost a year she said she was sorry. She didn't say what she was sorry for though. I didn't ask. I didn't solicit contact. Didn't want contact. Don't want her.
We have nothing to talk about. It's all been said. I don't need to be told twice. I have nothing to add.
My conclusion of her behavior? I have no idea what motivated her and I don't care. Nothing good could possibly come of any interaction with her.
Later that night I cried for the first time in a long time. I am through the worst of it but hurt remains in me. Working it out. It's ok.

Perfidy,
I'm impressed. I know I'm absolutely not at the point where I could/would turn my back if my uBPD ex boyfriend professed all of that. In fact, he's said similar things a few times before and I've broken down and responsded every time. Of coures it led to nothing good.
I am sure you did the right thing.
