It's finally happening... . I am truly starting to see things the right way.

This relationship was not supposed to work out for me.

I am one of the fortunate ones to walk away from this relationship with relatively no damage done.  I didn't marry her, I didn't have children with her, the relationship was only a year, and I now have my freedom to find a true happiness (Sorry to those of you that have endured more than I have.)

I read the post about dreaming about the BPDex before going to bed which I knew was a bad idea and I did have a dream but it was positive.  I have had some dreams involving the ex but she hasn't been present in any of the recent ones.  I woke up thinking maybe she was excluded from the dreams because she has recycled her ex but pulling a positive away from the dreams I got to spend time with her family whom there was genuine love with and not have to deal with her.

Thank you everyone for your postings and support.

Glad to hear that you are detaching - the lack of bad dreams is a sign that you are cleared the trauma of all of this.

I have been broken up with her for a little over three months and she has since recycled her ex.  My gut says she re-engages (probably influenced by my readings on here) but my head says there is no way she does.

Sounds like she never fully let go of the ex.  That's never a good thing.

I'd hope you to stay around and help with the newbies.  Helping others is a great way to help ourselves.

Thank You Skip.

It's funny how in such a short time thinking can change.  I am almost positive she doesn't re-engage me now.  Too much shame for going back to the ex and I have dropped off the face of the earth.  He was always in touch with her during our relationship and wanted back in.  I am prepared for the unexpected though.
