Research shows that constant and chronic conflict between the parents negatively impacts the children. The children sense their parents anxiety in their voice, their body language and their parents behavior. Here are some suggestions from Dean Stacer on how to avoid conflict.

Ok, I've read numerous posts about BPD and NPD being comorbid or overlaping. Where does this Histrionic PD come in. What are the common overlapping traits? From reading this board, it seems that HPD is less common. However, is it possible to have some traits of BPD/HPD/NPD? Or when diagnosed, does someone have to be broadly defined as one or the other. I kind of see a little of all of 3 these PD types in my ex. Is that even possible?

The waif is the abandoned child.  But the impulsive child often pimps out the waif in a histrionic fashion that feeds into the narcisistic queen.

You talking over my head, Laugh out loud (click to insert in post). Can someone have traits of all three B/H/N?

This $hit is confusing. I'll see your queen and raise you a waif and an abandoned child, haha

HPD are drama queens, aren't they? They seek attention through drama? So there's a narcissistic component, yes?  Can someone elaborate with examples?

HPD cannot stand to not be center of attention. They are massive sluts and have no filter.  They will talk about having anal sex in front of workmates etc going into graphic detail,  nothing is off limits,  they will blurt anything out to get people to look at them. They will literally make your jaw drop.

Yeah quite different to NPD

my ex was very much a hpd with her kids and her partner. she would pick partners that did not like kids so she could push her kids off on someone else but asked like it was the partners fault.

in relationship she was a waif, psychopath and when she was running she turned into the devil. she only would rage when you had needs . I have been in three relationship with women with BPD. and she is the hardest one to get over. every one of her girlfriends had lost there minds and went into the mental hospital.  I was friends with her before getting into a relationship with her. I new everyone of her ex and was able to talk to them. her kids told me to run because mom will drive you crazy. I was already in the honeymoon when I was told these things. she is also high functioning BPD. I was able to asked her a lot of question about why she did the stuff she did.

I've been with HPD girls before and they generally aren't a problem for me.  They are a lot of fun and they don't hide what they are,  she knows she's a slut,  you know she's a slut and she's never going to be the mother of your kids so you don't emotionally attach the way you do to a BPD.

My replacement ain't fun. She has anger issues, is controlling, and is about as sharp as a marble.

Yeah but HPD girls are clearly not relationship material.  You sleep with them and then hide from them for a while Laugh out loud (click to insert in post).

It's different with the borderlines because they actually make you think they ARE ltr material.  Histrionics are just transparent sluts.  At least in my experience.  Might just be my brains wiring but I can spot them a mile off, usually with a small army of orbiters in tow Laugh out loud (click to insert in post).
