First Thing, Last Thing

I'm looking forward to the day when she isn't the first thing on my mind in the morning, and the last thing on my mind before I fall asleep. Anyone here past this stage?

It's a nice thing to look forward to.
I thought I was past that stage.
However, ex was on my mind first thing today, due to a dream last night. I guess I had more processing to do. At least I laughed in the first part of the dream. (I admit it was at someone else's expense) I feel kinda badly about that.
I suppose things will come and go in the healing process. I feel more at ease, and more myself, than I did this time last year and I'm grateful for that.
Hang tight, sit with your feelings, and let it run its course.
