I have seen threads before about Birthdays and Christmas but what about anniversaries?

Both wedding and dating anniversaries, were they generally pleasant because the attention was on your partner? Or were they just as chaotic as other events?

Could they be a trigger for your pwBPD? (I notice a LOT of people mentioning BU's etc close to anniversaries).

Did you have frequent anniversaries? For example: one week anniversary, one month, six months?

Do share, it would be interesting to hear more.

Funny, i was the one who remembered our 1yr dating anniversary, not her. So Im sure nothing crosses her radar on it.

It's an interesting question--because anniversaries could mean intimacy, and we all know that could mean anathema to our pwBPD.  I find it VERY interesting that August 1 would have been a one year mark with my exbfBPD, and guess what day he walked out on me?  Considering that two of his three spouses also had a one year expiration date on the r/s; I'm thinking this is not completely coincidental.

A sell by date of sorts?

Those who have experienced anniversary BU's and walk outs, how did your partner explain their actions?
