missed my dancing partner tonight.

exSO and I used to dance a lot. Went to a friend's birthday party tonight. Band was playing, one of my favorite local bands. Anyway, I really missed exSO tonight, wanted to dance with her. There was group of girls a friend knew, she offered to fix me up but I wasn't interested. I'm not interested in new women right now, didn't want to give the wrong impression. And I'd end up with a crazy bunny boiler regardless if I did dance with one of them anyway. Just how my luck runs.

Maybe you miss her because she loved the art of dancing as much as you do.  And others at the party love dancing because they want it to turn it into a relationship.

Just because my xh and I had something in common when we met doesn't measn he is the only one who liked  what I liked . There's hundreds of others too !

So possibly  there are adult dance classes or meet up type of get togethers so you can learn to dance with another partner who also has that common love of dance.
