I thank everyone who has participated on this message board. I am very new to understanding BPD and things have been very difficult in the past two months. I have been brought down to a level I have never been before emotionally and financially. I have been NC for 20 days or so now and have clarity that I can not help or be with my ex BPD. The truth is sinking in and as painful as it is, I am grateful. I started to go back and do an inventory or history of our relationship and read through the beginning text messages. It was not good, I see him as severe case of BPD in this guy. I now get why I was fired from my first job, my life was all about him from the start; complete enmeshment.
Today was one of the best days I have had in about a year, most of the people in my life think I am getting better. My work has limited me to 20 hours a week but now my employer got me a long term contract (40 hours a week) that will end my finical nightmare by end of January. I am also leaving to spend Thanksgiving with my sister who has been very supportive and loving. Again, |iiiiI thank everyone for sharing, I think that it has saved my life.
