In ways I feel I'm making great strides. Yesterday was a good day. After two weeks of not doing much at all around house I started cleaning. Putting up Christmas stuff. Etc had dinner with ex girlfriend who is helping me through this and watched movie at house with her.

In looking through Christmas stuff I found a box of her stuff. Her children's ornaments and stockings and few other misc stuff. It's interesting even in terms of Christmas stuff she has few possessions. Very few. Odd.

Anyhow, I texted her and told her I found it. I said we can make arrangements one night after work to get things to you. I got a short response. She works right near me. I didn't offer

A day or time. Nor did she

I know I should do the right thing and schedule it. But I'm so tempted to see if she ever reaches out to do it. Should I do the right thin and make sure she gets it or should I just hold onto it? (I would never throw it away)

hey scopikaz

so youre hoping she reaches out to schedule getting her christmas things, do i have that right? i wouldnt count on that. this depends on what you want to do. are you wanting to get the things out of your house? are you wanting to use the occasion to reconcile?

I'm trying to move on. But I'd be lying if I didn't say I hope down road she does have change of heart.  I am trying to be loving towards her in interim. Pray for her. Work on self. But without being kind then it ruins all chances of whatever reconciliation could happen in future. Though it doesn't look likely.

She is coming to get things later though meeting me at work.

i understand scopikaz. i had a similar attitude: i didnt make any hard and fast decisions or accept anything i wasnt ready to, just worked on myself until i got to a better place. its a good strategy.

let us know how this exchange goes. we are here for you!
