the world according to my ex

Have you experienced this: people around her are divided into these categories:

the current lover is the love of her life (the previous were too)
previous lovers are villains or evil beings
I behave friendly, I am kept for future needs (hers only)
her mother and stepfather are very bad people
her relatives too
her close colleagues are lazy or incompetent or jealous
her distant colleagues are much better
unknown are either indifferent or annoying if they laugh or talk too loud

Hi pgri8684

Yes, it's interesting to observe how the BP divides the people in his or her life. What are your thoughts on that? Smiling (click to insert in post) I have experienced it, though not with such complex groups.

My experience was probably:

Group 1: Current bf and her.
Group 2: Current bf on a bad day.
Group 3: Everyone else.

My ex generally have some gossip/negative things to say about her roommates, coworkers, etc. The statements aren't really malicious, but they do seem a bit judgmental.

This can range from a coworker she holds with high esteem, but always talk about her apparently bad work ethics, to how one (or several) of her roommates have brought different guys behind closed doors in the span of 3 weeks.

So, to me, my ex had four groups of people.

1. Herself
2. Her family
3. Her SO
4. People who aren't important enough, but valuable to use them in such ways to soothe her (almost) nonexistent sense of self/esteem.
