I need help dealing with a family member with undiagnosed behaviors that seem like BPD . I am tired of being worried that this person will be mad at me and retaliate.

Hi sufferingsis

You are here because you have a family-member with possible BPD, your profile says a sibling. Having a BPD sibling can be very challenging. I have an undiagnosed BPD older sister (and mother) and they have often been very difficult to be around. I have found the tools and resources on this site to be very helpful though and I encourage you to take a look around here.

Could you tell us a bit more about your family-member's behaviors that lead you to believe this person might have BPD? What are the behaviors that you find most troubling or diffiuclt to deal with?

You mention worrying about the person being mad and retaliating against you. Has this been your experience so far that this person tends to lash out in anger? What kind of retaliation are you specifically worried about and have you perhaps already experienced in the past?

Tae care and welcome to  bpdfamily

 Hi Sufferingsis

Dealing with a relative with BPD can be very challenging, I'm not surprised you are tired of it. But a problem shared is a problem halved. Can you tell us a bit more about your situation. Happy to help.
