Just curious if there is anything this specific out there. I'm going to counseling and taking meds but will do anything else I can to speed the healing!

Thanks!

Thanks!

I joked (but sort of meant it) with a friend that if I could give every possession I own away as payment for immediate relief from this relationship, I would do so. As most here, the end of this relationship has confused me, confounded me, depressed me, and it certainly seems like it has changed me.

Have patience with yourself. Also, understand that healing is not linear. Some days you will feel better, some days you will feel worse. I went several weeks and hit an emotional wall since the new year. I know it will pass, but it definitely caught me off guard.

I am right there with you working towards that healing!

This has been by far the worst depression of my entire life and she watched me deteriorate for months and showed absolutely zero compassion. I'm not sure if she's even human.

Once Removed- The Journey From Abandonment to Healing is decent I was just wondering if there was anything out there that was more specific to a BPD type addictive relationship.

Duped 1 its good to try to see the humor in all this. I too joked with a friend that I wished there was a selective lobotomy I could do to just remove this part of my life from my memory. I didnt need to learn the lesson of what happens when you dance with the devil.

Hey duped

Codependent no more by Melody Beattie and overcoming perfectionism by Ann Smith are 2 books I can recommend. Our self esteem and self worth are the main factors in whether we can break free from our BPD ex's or not.
