BPD Mother?

My mother constantly bombards my dad with her (silly and petty issues), but when I need any real support with my business etc. She doesn’t like it. My dad has helped with a few questions today I’ve had over my business and my mother said she doesn’t want my asking (I heard he saying it to my dad when she didn't think I was listening). She seems to want his attention and not for him to give me any. Why?
Another time I was feeling ill and nervous and plucked up the courage to visit the doctor which was hard. She turned on me and was nasty, playing a victim and been totally nasty. Why?
Is this typical BPD behavior I am experiencing? She was supposedly diagnosed with OCD, but switched many psychiatrists and probably only went with those that would totally agree that everyone else was at fault and she was right.
It is like she wants my dad all to her own.

Hi Sqeek 123,
I just wrote a thread abt my mothers OCD and co morbidity with BPD and NPD. Yes, I think often times OCD or OCPD ( two different axis disorders) often times come along. It compounds the awful symptoms of BPD and I believe is a coping defense to ward off anxiety from the garden of other issues and symptoms. Although what you say, sounds more like a narcissistic feature... ( wanting every drop of attention from your father and unable share that even with her daughter)
Either way, it doesn't seem healthy... How does that affect your feelings toward her?
