new member in the midst of figuring this out

Hi there,
I'm totally new at this chat group thing, but I am feeling a little desperate. My husband is BPD and is currently having one of his intermittent explosive episodes directed towards me.  This is the first time I've actually left and got a hotel room to wait it out.  Not sure what to do.

Welcome to the boards. I'm sorry that things are being directed at you. Can you tell us a little more information? What was the fight about? What led to you leaving the house? How do your fights usually resolve?

Things sound tough especially where there is the level of dysregulation that you indicate in your post, it must have gotten bad for you to have to leave. I want to say I am pleased you were able to put your safety first and take yourself away from an explosive situation with your husband.
