Beware of Junk Psychology... Just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's true. Not all blogs and online "life coaches" are reliable, accurate, or healthy for you. Remember, there is no oversight, no competency testing, no registration, and no accountability for many sites - it is up to you to qualify the resource. Learn how to navigate this complicated arena...

I was told tonight by a very good female friend , call her K, that I once dated , that I dodged a bullet by being dumped by a suspected BPD, call her L.
My friend K, suffered the same spousal abuse from her ex and has been diagnosed depressed , bipolar and PTSD. When K and I dated last year she was serial dating and I told her I wouldn't be a number on a draft list. We stayed friends and she disclosed today she is probably a BPD.
Wow.
After all the ruminating,  the person able to solve my constant obsession of possibly getting back with my ex BPD "L" was a text away.
Miss "K" has told me that "L" has a long recovery ahead, but only if she wants it. "K" has been in therapy for over 5 years and still has away to go. In her first few years of recovery she admitted to making men she met crazy over her mood swings. She  admitted to still having men in and out of her life today just for the sex.
Wow. What an admission. Yes, I dodged a bullet. Thanks "K" for reassuring me.
