I believe my husband has BPD and I’ve tried to keep things together for my kids’ sake.  Now the second and last one is graduating from HS, so I’d like to move out/divorce/get on with my life.  Is anyone in the same boat?  I’ve seen a couple of therapists briefly, but I’m gathering that it’s hard to find one that really understands BPD. I feel like I need the support of someone who does.  Just trying to start a conversation here and hopefully feel more clear-minded about leaving my husband.

Sorry you had to find us but yes there are lots of great people here. yes finding an appropriate therapist is tough. I actually googled and found one who specialized in BPD and then eventually found one who specialized in domestic abuse. Keep posting. People here are full of wisdom.
