sibling with BPD

I believe my older sister may have BPD... .my Mother was diagnosed with BPD, later in her life... .my sister seems to be challenged with many of the same symptoms... .my sister thinks everyone else is mentally ill or has bipolar, especially if she has a problem with you... .because it can not be her... .I stopped all contact with her about a year ago... .she wanted me at her beck and call... .and I was just exhausted and wanted my life back... .she is a bully at times, she can throw a temper tantrum at the drop of a hat... .she is consumed with status and her looks (beauty) and she is very sensitive about her age, can't even talk about her age... .she goes into rages if she feels that someone has slighted her... .and she projects her unwanted negative feelings onto me... .and is very jealous of me and if I have something she wants she will try and take it from me... .she loves people to fear her... .but inside I think she is just a scared little girl... .she always has to be right and her truth is the only truth... .she keeps throwing me bait to get me to come back and take care of her... .she will text me... .I always say no... .I am so happy not having her in my life... .is BPD genetic?  I have 6 siblings and a few others are also questionable... .

BPD is thought to be 60/40 nature/nurture (I could have those reversed, I would need to dig deep to find an article I saw here years ago).

My mom once told me "everyone should be in therapy" (8 billion people?). My ex "sent" me to therapy twice, also the guy she left me for. Projection indeed... .

What precipitated you going no contact?
