Attachment disorder affected me
«

Hi family,
Today i was journaling about my 10-11yr r/s w dxBPDbf, untx. What I noticed was the his attachment disorder, became my attachment disorder. After a couple of years of living w him, I look back and see I was becoming like him in attachment issues. I became less accountable, less responsible, afraid of commitment, on even a small level. Is this an inevitable consequence of being w someone who has this disease?
I changed, and not for the better.
Thank you for your input.

Does anyone else feel like they were(are) being subjected to what the pwBPD may have been subjected to? Its like, they can only give what they know... .and even so, they can be kind, loving, spiritual... .
