I have finally realized I can not change my husband who is a total narcissist.
How do I detach from him and his neediness and controlling everything?
I really don’t want to even be around him. Is that awful of me?

Hi soap lady,

Welcome

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your husband. Are you interested in bettering the relationship to any degree that might be possible?

Can you please tell us more about his neediness and controlling behaviors? How do you respond?

Please be sure to read the lessons the right.  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post) They can be helpful no matter what PD your partner might have, though N can present special challenges I believe.

wishing you the best, pearl.
