Hi there, I believe my son has BPD. After 10 years of feeling like I have been raked over the coals, I am finally looking at my part in my relationship with him and am seeking empowerment and courage to set healthier boundaries for both our sake. Hoping someone else out there can relate.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Can you tell us a bit more about your situation?  How old is your son?  Is he diagnosed (he does not  have to be, a lot of our members have loved ones without a diagnosis)? 

I am finally looking at my part in my relationship with him and am seeking empowerment and courage to set healthier boundaries for both our sake.

  What have you tried when he is acting out?  Can you describe a common situation that has been problematic?

Sorry for all the questions.  I am just trying to get an idea of your situation so we can better help you.
