Things are finally turning around

It’s been a really long time. A lot has happened, but just wanted y’all to know. My son has been seeing his daughter a lot more and even we had her for 2 weeks and he saw her quite a bit. Also he started communicating with the baby mama on July 4th. So that was a HUGE step in the right direction. He actually went out with his dad and his grandma to the casino one night a couple of weeks ago. He and his best friend are working together again except it’s with my sons new business he just got off the ground.
So a lot of good things happening and my daughter is off drugs and doing GREAT she has a good job, good bf this time and is a senior this year! I can’t believe how much time flies. Anyway still haven’t seen our sons wife almost been 2 yrs. He told his best friend he does not love her and she annoys the crap out of him, but he feels obligated because her family doesn’t want her at all. Said he is not in love with her either. Allows other guys to hang out with her while he is working in hopes she’ll run off with one or he’ll catch her in the act and then she’ll know he is gone. Weird situation I think but we all just keep praying because we have seen huge improvements and we know it can’t go on like this too much longer. Because he does want out, but feels stuck. So I hope everyone is doing well here and staying safe. Take care.

Hi
Mickey47
,
Thanks for the update! It definitely sounds like there is some improvement and how wonderful to see some positive signs.
How are you doing in caring for yourself these days? No matter if life is going better at the moment or if there's a lot of stress, it's important to practice self-care to continue growing and getting stronger inside ourselves. I think especially during Covid 19 we have to think out of the box. I was able to get outside and take a walk today. It felt so nice!
Take care,
Wools

Oh I’m doing really well and although there are stressors due to Covid. I have found my Bible studying to give me peace, comfort and stability. I know God is working it all out in his timing and I just trust in him completely everything will be okay. My work is also good and I love the people I work with and for. My hubby, daughter and I are doing well. We all talk about stuff and our feelings.
My daughter has discussed with me the past hurts of her brother. She feels like her brother was stolen from her. Because his wife is extremely jealous of her, but I had a talk with him about a lot of things. Which before I was afraid to do in fear he may run off. But ever since I started walking in my faith God is giving me the strength to be bold and say how we all are feeling.
He was very receptive and even met her bf and had a 45 minute conversation with them about what led him away from drugs. She felt connected to him a little bit again and sees he is trying to make up for his past behavior. He even text her on her birthday. “Hey Happy Birthday kid.” He has always called her kid it’s a form of endearment so it meant a lot to her especially since it was her 18th.
I’m exercising, eating right and getting some pretty good sleep for a change. So we are all doing well and I pray you and yours are staying healthy as well.
