I think you're putting the cart before the horse. Protective orders are for last resort- and put into place when all other methods have failed. A Protective order is for someone who is stalking you or threatening you, not someone whom you are "engaged" in an on and off again relationship with and you want to break-up.
You've suggested that you've changed jobs 3 times, changed contact numbers 4 times and yet -you've gone back and given an engagement ring to her 5 times in spite of efforts you've made to get away. You cannot go to her house, you cannot meet any of her friends or introduce yourself to her grown children. Is there something that is keeping you from breaking it off and telling her it's over- without going through the hassle of getting a court order? Your avatar script says that you are "dating a BPD woman for 2 years"- could that be changed to past tense- "dated a BPD woman for 2 years?" ~You could start tomorrow and tell her it's over.
I really think the power is in your hands. All you need to do is say, "no more." You don't need to get the courts involved unless it is absolutely necessary.
