Well it’s just over month for me to have left my uBPDw of three years. Bar a couple of emails I have had to write I have done a good job at NC. The lows aren’t so low anymore. The state of permanent confusion has gone and I am able to do some simple tasks. Not expecting too much of myself for now and focussed on the short term only. Deliberately avoiding any major long term decisions.

I am able to be me, whoever I am. Because I know that I am different for having the BPD experience. I will be wiser, more deliberate, less reckless, more cautious, less hasty, set better boundaries and more inclusive of the people I love and who love me back.

This is a life changer. I have a long way to go and the last four years has been a significant event in my life. I will richer for the experience and I will recover.

Posted this for two reasons:

1.   To give hope to those that struggle. I do still do, every day. At times my head is all over the place. But …….

2.   To thanks all that participate in these forums I am much further along this road because of the pain expressed and wisdom shared.

I am glad, Mupetto, that you have better times now.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Focus on simple tasks right now is very wise. Step by step... .

1.   To give hope to those that struggle. I do still do, every day. At times my head is all over the place. But …….

2.   To thanks all that participate in these forums I am much further along this road because of the pain expressed and wisdom shared.
