My mother has BPD, only diagnosed by me. My brother hates her and doesn't speak to her anymore after 41 years of torture, manipulation and control. I am the daughter, the one that "feels for her". She takes total advantage of that and until now at 39, I never knew what was wrong with her. I always knew she was depressed, rage filled, manipulative, dramatic, negative and always the victim.
Thank you for this space! I am new but look forward to learning a lot.

Im sorry things have been difficult with your mother. . BPD is a confusing mental illness and can be painful for all involved. Im glad you have found us, we have many members here who have a parent with BPD. We all understand. It sounds like your brother has been struggling as well.
