Now that I am healing and on the road to true recovery, I can sometimes look a the trauma and pain I was stuck in and marvel at how short a period of time it actually was.

The 13 months since my ex started the silent treatment can feel at times like 13 years

As you emerge from the FOG, do you marvel at how long a day seems to take in a Post Traumatic world?

I can't believe it's only been 18 months since we broke up. I was in such pain on a day to day basis, that the pull and pining and shame and sensitisation seems to have slowed time itself.

Now that I am out of it, I can't believe it has only been a relatively short period of time. Obsession & regret = time machine!

anyone else?
