 Wife in the white... .  wants to try again.  She has been going to a T for about 6 sessions.  I promised

myself that I would need to talk to him first, to get his thoughts about all this, and then make that decision. Would that be unrealistic? I'm in an ok state of mind right now, not really wanting to go back into the pit if the outcome is going to be the same... .

I think that would be unethical, it would almost definitely cause your wife to start putting on an act with her T hence negating its effectiveness

You could have a meeting with the T and both of you, I did this a few times before getting back togethe for another ride on the crazy train.

I don't know your story but if you are sure she is BPD and you have tried hard already, I would advise you to stay away, start over and find a more healthy relationship that has a better chance of success.
