I caught my BPDso in a lie... second time he did this lie that I know of second time he got caught... he brings me groceries every weekend and water... he recycles as well... just background... . anyway he got off work they are cutting his hours... I usually see him sat/sun... Friday he texts me that he is at my place they cut his hours etc... when I got home he said I have to go home tomorrow dont freak out... I have to go home and do shopping for you and my trunk is full of cans and bottles I have to recycle too but I will be back... so he drinks as well... he got drunk and passed out... . I had a big bag of cans and was also suspicious... . so I went to his car to put the cans in his trunk and lo and behold... . 5 bags of groceries for me and no cans at all in the trunk... was very clean trunk... I am not sure if he is cheating or wanted an excuse to go to a bar and come back... . I took the groceries in and when he woke up he asked me why I went to his car and its none of my business etc... I stayed calm and tried not to react except that I just said I am sorry I went in your car I was trying to be helpful and put more cans in your trunk and brought in the groceries... he didnt admit that he lied but kept asking me not to go in his car anymore... I have checked on his car before and he didnt care since he parks in my apt complex... also its been 2 days he has been giving me the silent treatment and not texting me... has anyone else gone thru these wierd lies? why not just tell me he had to go home for a bit... . ? he could have come up with anything but why the stupid lie? so than he didnt end up going anywhere at all... he stayed the whole time... he does test the waters with other women from time to time or go on dating sites when we fight... we had been fighting recently... I wish he wasnt so Jekyll and hyde...

Yes, I have been. It's part of their immaturity I think. Mine would make up wierd lies when he didn't even have to lie. Or he could have just said something simple. And yes if you call them on it, they sometimes go silent. Don't contact him, if you do he will consider this his form of abuse for you.

Comparing notes . . .
mine screams "I Hate You" at me like a 8 year old girl when she gets caught.
So pleasant.

My guy will sometimes change his bad actions to my "bad' reaction to his actions. So in other words, you cant win. It doesnt necessarily mean they are up to something sneaky, but losing any fight makes them "bad" and its black and white thinking issue for them. Let him take some time to deal with himself, and when he comes back around you can address your concerns using the tools on this website. Until then enjoy yourself and do some stuff for you.
