Today has been a much need break for the storm that has over taken my life for the last 3 days.  My bp has started the make up phase of his routine.  The excessive phone calls to apologize for what he's said and constant "I love you". I know this all comes from the fear that he has pushed to hard this time and I'm going to leave.

How do you deal the constant shift of behavior?  I keep reminding myself it isn't him it's the disorder.  Even that doesn't repair the damage that has been done.  It's all I can donor scream at him "how can you not see this is not normal", but I know this will not do me any good.

If YOU don't change, things will stay the same

It is hard. All I can say is enjoy the good times without prejustice, but keeping in mind that the OTT make up period is equally just part of the illness.

It is hard to turn our emotions off and compartmentalize it like they do, but we have to try otherwise we end up wounded with resentment.
