ever feel like the only thing you had in common was that you wanted to show each other affection?

like there weren't too many actually good laughs, or didn't have much in common personality-wise,  or kinda had trouble carrying out a conversation, or you felt like it wasn't a good match?

i remember feeling that way a number of times, but what kept me there was that i loved to comfort her, or try to console her, or make out with her... .  

anyone else feel anything similar not dissimilar?

Actually, that sounds really familiar to me. Opposites attract... .  that's what they told me; however, going forward I think the ideal partner will be somewhere in between.
