I've had an awesome few days.  Time with friends, having fun.

I've thought about her a lot still, but I feel it's because I am conditioned to. I don't feel sad, or miss her.

I'm kind of excited for my future, who knows what awesome people might come my way?

So yes. I am going to be posting more on the personal inventory board. I'll still check in here from time to time though of course!

So, ladies and gents, it's been 6 months here almost.   And I can finally imagine a life without her. I'm sure I'll have setbacks, but for those of you who are still struggling, I say to you "It gets better".  I was the first to think "Oh shut up!" to people who said that - I mean, they didn't know what we had!

But life does move on.  Let it!

I thank you all, I truly do.  I was in a dark dark place when I came here and you guys got me through.  Thank you all. I hope you all find your way.

And I'm not leaving - just re-directing my focus.

Great news Mango.

We can track back and forth on that same path and realize its not helping. We need to find a new path, a new way of doing things in order to really move through it.

Feeling vulnerable and putting yourself out there to find you will help you far more in the long run than constantly regurgitating things about your ex.

Right on... .   ! This thread put a smile on my face. I so want to be where you are right now.

It has almost been year since I served my wife divorce papers but she is still delusional about this ... .     She is obsessed with me, ... .   stalks me, sends me pics (just five minutes ago she sent a picture of the kitchen table all set ready for dinner for our "whole" family ... .   of course, i do not reply to this as this just fuels her to send more $h%@ to me by email).

Anyways, ... .   Please post more updates as it makes me happy that there is a light at the end of the road.

That is wonderful news.   I am at that place now too.   Your posts have been a big help in my own healing and in knowing I am far from alone in the thoughts I have had about my own relationship.   X

I'm on that board a bit too, so I'm sure I'll see you over there.  So glad that you're moving on and feeling better.  You've been a big help for me and I really really mean that.

Great to hear Mango.  I am hoping that I make it to your place sooner than 6 months, but so great to hear stories like these.
