Okay is this normal?
My husband's BPD enmashed family has caused a lot of issues in the past 6 years. My husband and I have finally decided to put in some space. We haven't said anything yet... . but they must sense it... . because now they are being super nice. Its confusing and I'm starting to feel guilty about our decision. Ahhh. I know in the long run nothing has changed. Taking responsibility, apologizing... . these things are not going to happen.
Now that we are pulling away... . they now are trying to pull us close?
What do I do with that?

Stand your ground! In my experience people with BPD often behave like this. First they hurt you and push you away and then when you in fact leave, they'll try to manipulate you in coming back. And if you do come back, all the drama starts again so it's best to keep enforcing your boundaries. I don't even think it's that important to tell them about your new boundaries, the most important thing is to enforce them.
