Ex is black and blue all over (bruises) along with black eye. Self inflicted?

I picked up my daughter yesterday from the matrimonial home, ... . and my ex comes out to the front porch only for me to see that she has bruises all over her body (legs, arms, even a black eye). I know she drinks to the point of losing total control and she does fall down a lot down the stairs (in the past and such)... . but a black eye?
Whatever the case, ... . I didn't even bother to ask, ... . I was just thinking to myself, ... . "well ... . I didn't do it" ... . and I will never be falsely accused of any shenanigans ever again.
Anyways, ... . I personally think she has a blood dyscrasia of some sort (hemophilia type of problem).

Heavy drinking causes you to bruise more easily, especially women for some reason.
Maybe someone beat her up, or she took a drunken fall.

You were picking up your daughter from your ex's place and your ex looks like she has taken a beating or fell down due to being drunk... . ?
My daughter has gran mal seizures and has never injured herself this badly from falling down or flailing about... .
From your description this woman was likely beaten, and badly.
If your children are with her in any capacity... . I would be very concerned based on any of the proposed scenarios (beaten by self or other, or falling down drunk).

ogopogodude, would be worthwhile reporting this to the police - you could be implicated and your daughter is in her care.

Ogopogo and Clearmind,
I think this is indeed a step that needs to be taken !
I've seen the damage that a borderline can do in the emotional behavior of their own kids in two cases, and that is already more then enough.
It seems there may have been a serious incident, I wouldn't just let it be like this... .
