I know everyone's going to have a different answer. But if your making a honest attempt at moving forward from a BPD relationship. Your reading books and articles about the BPD illness. Reading books to help deal with your own problems, also seeing a T. What would be an average time frame, to be able to move on with out the pain associated with the ex flooding into your mind. I'm shooting for 8 months coming out of a 3 year relationship. Anyone care to share their results. To this point I've made some rookie mistakes. Like finding info from others about her. But, even that has dropped off. So I'm 9 long week out. Is my goal realistic?

I have seen others throw around some ratio on here of some number of months per year you were together. I can't recall what it is though. My opinion is that it will take however long it takes you to get right with yourself. By that I mean figuring out what your own core issues are and resolving them to the point that you are a healthy person.

Sweet, So maybe I won't go broke with paying my T bill. And still have enough time to enjoy what a healthy relationship feel like before I die.
