I removed my BPDex from facebook, put photos of her away, took her off speed dial, all that jazz. I last texted her a week ago just a simple best wishes type text and instantly regretted it. While I still have many feelings and thoughts I'd want to share with her, I know this is non-productive at this point, so I am trying my best to stay NC.

We don't work together, but it is unavoidable that we will run into each other in person (don't want to elaborate because I'm now paranoid  Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)). For those of you who still work together with your BPDex or have unavoidable contact for other reasons, how did you best handle it?

I was proactive about countering a potential smear campaign by contacting some of our mutual friends that I trust or care to remain friends with, most were supportive. I've been doing my best to avoid seeing her in person but it's only a matter of time. I don't want to give her any ammunition for a smear campaign. I also don't want to be triggered into doing anything I will regret. What thoughts and feelings did you have when you had to handle being together with your BPDex? What strategies did you have for avoiding any problems?

The first encounter will be probably a bit a shock. For me it was like this.

I would handle it like with a co-worker you don't like - short and formal.

After that it could be that it gets easier.
