I have told my BPDh that I just can't take it anymore. The cheating, the women chasing, the bizarre behavior, the verbal abuse, his not sleeping for days, his waking m up in the middle of the night to cry or rage or just to get attention, the excessive spending, the excessive entitlement- all of it. After 24 yrs I am burnt out, not in love with him and my codependency is all but completely dried up- I have nothing except I do not want him to suffer and I dont want suicide.
He went out yesterday and tried to find an apartment on his social security income and ended up crying at the rental office etc. I have taken care of him for so long that he doesn't even know how to rent his own place and didn't get any help from friends or family.
Can someone tell me the names of the agencies in the US that help someone on disability SS get housing etc.? Because of a traumatic brain injury he has problems filling out applications, forms etc. Is there some agency/organization that can help him so I don't have to be the "rescuer" again? We have checked with the VA and the head injury assoc. already and they have nothing.

There a place called "Boley" around in my area. I'm sure they are in many other states as well. A tenant of mine had most of the rent paid by Boley. The tenant had mental health issues and about 50 years of age. Works like section 8 housing. This place is for mental health issues mostly I think. Hope this is useful.
