Coming up on a year NC - why am I now depressed?

Man ... .I went through all the stages of grief - shattered, angry, negotiating etc of grief. Thought i was doing great. Was at a place of gratitude even forgiveness. I have done a lot of hard work on myself (after I stopped taking her inventory).
But now I have fallen into a hole of funk - I can hardly get out of bed for the last week. Really down on myself, not seeing any future etc.
I'm wondering if she is "transmitting" some bad karma my way ... .or What?
Just had to talk out loud ... .

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. Grief isn't usually something you can just deal with a-b-c-d-e and it's gone. It can come and go. You can learn to handle it better when you're feeling it again, but something that affects you this deeply is going to leave scars. What got them aching again recently? Was there a specific trigger that you're aware of?

Hey Nolisan,
I have had a similar experience, and I agree with Myself in that feeling grief is not linear. Allow yourself to feel it, but I would also recommend thinking about getting out and making contact with some friends. What do you like to do that is fun?

Hang in there Nolisan. It has now been 9 months since the split for me and there has only been 2 contacts made in 6 months... .At times I feel very strong too and happy even but then other times I sometimes go to my old habits and question myself I guess in my case that is the trap. I guess my advice is be kind to yourself you obviously did the best you could. When you feel like this find something to keep you busy it helps for me

Hi nolisan
sorry to hear about you feeling depressed.
Did you had this before in your life? So it could be just back?
If not I agree with others about not linear.
Do you have enough exercise? Fresh air? Moving the body is very important in my eyes.
Alcohol can make it worse too.
