I can say I achieved the final detachment modus.

I can say I achieved the final step of detachment.

Last Monday I was going to the psycho-therapist, to follow EMDR therapy over my past relationship with my BPD ex to bring up the old crap (which still hurted). The relationship got the status 'trauma' from my side and I couldn't believe that so many months later I still felt the same intensity of pain but throughout EMDR specific memories could be lowered.

I received an email 5 hours later after my EMDR session from my ex.

She said she had a nice conversation with her previous ex (who raped her, sexually assaulted her, hit her, insulted her, threathened to kill her (i've seen the text messages)). She was happy she spoke with him, she was happy he is doing good now, and to finalize the email she said, one day, I will also be over her as that ex...

My brain snapped, and I smiled. The last cords of feelings, passion and compassion for my ex have gone.

(Sorry for the bad words) but the b!tch is crazy. A normal sane person would not do this.

That is really awful she sent you an email like that.

At least... .

You gained some closure... .

From this.

Something which all of us here... .

Seek... .

And few of us... .

Ever find.

Your ex is not normal.

That is correct.

You have been freed... .

From this ordeal.
