Give me strength.

Well, next Friday I have my ultimate test. My ex lives in Las Vegas and I live in California. I'm going with a group of really good friends to see the Kanye (who she despises, yes!) concert that is in Vegas. In the back of my mind I am blocking out this fantasy I have of us running into each others arms. I know this is an unhealthy delusion. I have deleted her number from my phone, but I think I know it by heart. I don't know, any tips other than do not contact her?

If you are under the influence of substances, give your phone to a trusted friend, who knows just how toxic she is.

Yeah, this is a good idea. I have this nightmare where I look up and see her walking around with some guy in the MGM Grand just to show me how 'fabulous' she is. She would love that. The look on my face is painful for me to think about.

Try to be in the moment with friends. Emerse yourself in them and focus on having fun, for you, for them.

Have fun with your friends. Give your phone to one of them if you need to. Party time!
