ID4 a message of hope

Hello,
I haven't posted here in years. Namely due to the fact that the exBPDgf found me here causing me to abandon the site. Four years ago last night was the end. Those three words "Enough, No More!" I had uttered set me moving forward. The involvement with her that lasted over three years of sheer pure unadulterated hell was finally over and a long journey of recovery had begun. It wasn't easy. The war was finally over, though those last months I feel I regained my dignity and self respect. Staring evil in the face and not backing down will do that (for me that is, for me, I had to). However, I honestly believe it was Divine Intervention that freed me from her grip.
Those first few months afterward were absolutely the most painful I had experienced... .but I took it, usually, one breath at a time. Slowly but surely life started to get better and better. The panic attacks and constant fear let up, work and relationships improved and I felt great to be alive. Life now isn't perfect by any means but it is a whole hell of a lot better. The past 2 years were really bumpy but thats life. Life heading in new directions. God gave me and I gave myself the opportunity to choose and a have second chance. ... .I even fell in love with the most amazing woman. There is life after this. I promise you.
So today ID4, is my Independence Day, the 4th since I said those three simple life changing words. I celebrate in my own way. I'm alive and grateful. Thank you God and the many souls who helped me get free. I am blessed. If I can do it, you can. But you have to make the choice once and for all.
And yes multiple time she tried to re-engage in various methods. I wouldn't and won't ever let her in.
Freedom.
