Beware of Junk Psychology... Just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's true. Not all blogs and online "life coaches" are reliable, accurate, or healthy for you. Remember, there is no oversight, no competency testing, no registration, and no accountability for many sites - it is up to you to qualify the resource. I want to ask a general question.  Every time my ex would break up it would literally be over something small, and she would not talk about it at all.  I would get a text or an email that would say something along the lines of "you love X more than you love me".  X could be my kids, money, my own time, etc.  Each time I would say let's talk about this, to which she would say that there is nothing to talk about.

Does this sound like anyone else, or am I special :-)

Hey Tincup, Sure, this is quite familiar.  Anything that drew attention away from my BPDxW was treated as a threat.  Could be a college reunion, a call from my sister, a friend inviting me over to watch an NFL game, a business meeting, you name it.  In my view, it all stems from their fear of abandonment and core insecurities, which never really let up.  Lucky Jim
