the push pull at Christmas - so sad

My soon to be ex bought the kids (aged 21 and 26) red stockings filled with silly gifts and games they would have loved to play with him (only he can't handle games). He bought me my favourite perfume (now it makes me feel ill to look at it). Our friends, with whom I am staying over the break, a case of expensive wine. It's so sad. Just days ago he was threatening me with lawyers' letters and court saying he's run out of money and we have to sell out house asap. I weep for him.  I can't be angry because I know he's hurting. It's so confusing.

Christmas, her birthday, my birthday have all proved over time to be a trigger for her to bolt!

I don't know why exactly but I can predict with certainty that my uBPDex have a huge bust up with someone, family member, my replacement, a friend, over the next few days!
